China Development Financial Holdings’ (hereinafter referred to as "CDF") Charity has once again launched “Love for You”, an initiative which has ran for 10 years in a row. As it has done in the past, this year, it again called on the group's employees to participate by purchasing baking products made by the disadvantaged groups. Nearly 1,000 CDF colleagues participated, and the order amount exceeded NT$1.1 million, creating a positive cycle of sustainable consumption which exemplifies the power of love and care.

CDF Employees participating in the initiative will receive baking goods from the Shelter Workshop every month this year, and the actual income for these orders is used to help people with disabilities to develop professional skills. CDF works with two charity partners for this initiative in 2023: Hua-kuang Social Welfare Foundation and the shelter workshop of TriBake Social Enterprise. Yifan Chen, the founder of TriBake Social Enterprise said that, "This is the first time we have received a large order for a whole year. CDF’s support will help TriBake continue to create an inclusive workplace for people with disabilities, and at the same time to promote natural and local baking products and to further advocate the concept of sustainable consumption."

Mr. Shenzhu Chou, Director at Hua-kuang Social Welfare Foundation, said, "CDF is our most consistent supporter. The annual collective purchase orders are the most substantial encouragement for workers in the workshop. More importantly CDF’s stable and long-term commitment has successfully helped integrate five people with disabilities into ordinary workplaces for employment." A CDF employee who has participated in “Love for You” initiative for a decade shared that, "the bakery of the social welfare institutions provides baking products with great quality. With NT$ 200 dollars per month one can help people with disabilities and also bring home healthy and delicious snacks , which is really a positive thing that benefits everyone.”

In addition, China Development Foundation also gave an exclusive calendar for the Year of the Rabbit to colleagues participating in the purchases. The design of the calendar is based on the office scene of CDF and is drawn by Zhenrong Chen, a graduate of Chaoyang University of Science and Technology and an art talent that has been cultivated long term by the CDF Foundation. Colleagues who received the calendar said, "The calendar shows the daily office scenes vividly. It is a great and unique New Year gift."
