Achievements
During Mr. Su Kuo Huang’s tenure at CTBC Bank, he initiated the first wealth management services in Taiwan, which brought in diversified trust products. His work in ushering in a new era of customized trust financial services is one of the reasons he is fondly referred to as the "Father of Trust” in Taiwan.
After becoming Chairman of Taiwan Life in 2017, Mr. Huang managed record-breaking results with an after-tax profit of NT$10 billion and, later in 2021, doubling this record to earn nearly 40% of total company profits, NT$23.1 billion. In addition, total assets jumped from NT$1.3 trillion to NT$2.2 trillion by the first quarter of 2022, with a record-breaking embedded value of NT$257.7 billion.

· Under Mr. Huang's leadership, CTBC Bank became the first bank in Taiwan to offer wealth management services. Recognized as “Best Bank for Wealth Management” in Taiwan for 11 consecutive years and “Best Retail Bank” in Taiwan for 8 consecutive years, Mr. Huang helped position CTBC Bank 's services far above those of other domestic and foreign investment banks.

· During his time as Chairman, Taiwan Life earned 63 domestic awards and was recognized by 14 international professional agencies. Furthermore, Taiwan Life was recognized by “Global Business Outlook” as the best insurance company in Taiwan and is the only insurance company in Taiwan to be recognized by “The Global Economics” as the best insurance company for two consecutive years.
