CDF reports July after-tax profit at NT$2.81 bn. Accumulated after-tax profit from January to July at NT$19.76 bn and an EPS of NT$1.32

China Development Financial Holding Corporation (CDF) today reported its after-tax profit for July at NT$2.81 bn, accumulated after-tax profit from January to July at NT$19.76 bn, and an EPS of NT$1.32.

CDF spokesperson Richard Chang pointed out that the active capital market in July benefit securities and financial transactions, and allow subsidiaries to continue their steady business performance. KGI Bank's profits are mainly generated from interest and fee income, and its after-tax profit in July was NT$0.45 bn; accumulated after-tax profit from January to July was NT$2.71 bn. The Taiwan Stock Exchange Index reached a record high in July and then pulled back. Transaction volume also increased and contributed to brokerage, underwriting, and bonds businesses. KGI Securities reported its after-tax profit in July at NT$1.21 bn and accumulated after-tax profit from January to July at NT$8.31 bn. CDIB Capital Group's after-tax profit in July reflects on changes in valuation of its investment positions, and its after-tax profit for the month was NT$0.01 bn and accumulated after-tax profit from January to July was NT$2.68 bn. China Life's after-tax profit in July was NT$3.48 bn and accumulated after-tax profit from January to July was NT$20.02 bn.

Richard Chang stated that CDF will continue to implement risk management measures to reduce the impact on employees, customers, and the Company's operations. In terms of long-term business development, CDF will effectively implement its ABCDE Strategy to accelerate its digital transformation, continue to build relationships with customers, and work together with subsidiaries and different departments in product development, in order to improve the efficiency of long-term capital utilization and generate steady profits.
