Press Release

CDF is dedicated to developing key services line with its "Customer Focus" strategy and based on customers' needs. This year, CDF launched a company-wide initiative called "Month of Treating Customers Fairly" for the first time. This initiative includes a series of activities designed to deepen our culture of fair treatment towards customers, encourage our colleagues to continuously improve their customer service skills, create a friendly financial environment, and provide sustainable financial services.

During the "Month of Treating Customers Fairly," CDF organized a range of events, including training sessions for the board and supervisory team on the principles of fair treatment in the financial industry, friendly movie screenings and expert lectures for disadvantaged groups, financial education for the younger generation, and sharing of fair treatment quotes within the company. These activities helped foster a shared understanding among colleagues at all levels and encouraged the practice of treating customers fairly.

To help our colleagues understand the needs of vulnerable groups, we organized movie screenings to enable them to gain insight into the inner world of elderly individuals suffering from dementia and the visually impaired. Following these events, we invited experts from the Taiwan Alzheimer's Disease Association and the Taipei Parents' Association for the Visually Impaired to share their skills for caring for these individuals. All participating colleagues gave high praise, and we will provide knowledge on how to treat individuals with dementia and visual impairments in a friendly manner to 1,800 frontline service colleagues. This will help them gain a deeper understanding of the needs of their vulnerable friends and provide more caring services.

In response to the Civil Law lowering the age of adulthood to 18 years old, CDF is extending financial education to young students. We held a financial education event targeting Generation Z youth and co-created an anti-fraud teaching case through the "Youth Anti-Fraud Generation Co-creation Workshop" with Seed lecturers from China Life Insurance, KGI Securities, KGI Bank, and KGI SITE, along with students from the Accounting Department of Providence University. Starting next year, we will collaborate further with CDF volunteers to promote anti-fraud courses at various universities, thereby enhancing students' financial knowledge and anti-fraud capabilities.

To cultivate a culture of fair treatment towards customers, we must rely on daily work practices. We shared service slogans and stories for fair treatment from colleagues at KG Bank, China Life Insurance, and KGI Securities. These slogans and stories were shared with CDF colleagues through elevator videos, computer desktops, and screen savers, emphasizing the core value of fair treatment towards customers. This helped to build consensus among all members of the company and put the spirit of fair treatment towards customers into practice.
