CDF reports April after-tax profit of NT$2.42 billion. After-tax profit for the first four months reached NT$10.63 billion, and EPS was NT$0.64

China Development Financial Holding Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CDF") reported today its profit for the month of April. Unaudited after-tax profit was NT$2.42 billion, while after-tax profit for the first four months exceeded NT$10 billion, reaching NT$10.63 billion, representing a 153% growth compared to the same period last year. EPS was NT$0.64. 

KGI Life reported an after-tax profit of NT$1.89 billion in April, and the after-tax profit for the first four month of this year reached NT$7.04 billion, benefited from the appreciation of the US dollar and strategic market investments. KGI Life remains committed to focusing on the sale of high-value products to boost long-term business development. KGI Securities reported an after-tax profit of NT$564 million for April, bringing the total after-tax profit for the first four months to NT$3.46 billion, marking a 52% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite the fluctuations in the Taiwan stock market in April, which led to a decrease in trading volume, KGI Securities continued to see consistent contributions to its profits from its stock brokerage and wealth management businesses. KGI Bank's after-tax profit in April was NT$552 million, and the after-tax profit for the first four months of this year reached NT$2.02 billion. KGI Bank continues to demonstrate strong performance in its business sectors, with sustained increases in interest and fee income contributing to profit growth. CDIB Capital Group reported an after-tax profit of NT$25 million in April, due to the evaluation fluctuation of its investment positions. The after-tax profit for the first four months of this year was NT$154 million.

CDF stated that external uncertainties including the Fed's interest rate policy, international regional conflicts, China's weak economic recovery, and the forthcoming U.S. presidential election, are anticipated to influence future trends in the global financial market. CDF will continue to implement risk control mechanisms to mitigate operational risks, while striving for sustainable and long-term growth.
