CDF celebrates International Women's Day and embraces equity at workplace

To celebrate International Women's Day, China Development Financial Holdings (hereinafter referred to as "CDF") held an internal sharing session today, inviting female senior executives across the group's subsidiaries to talk about their experiences and insights on how women can express themselves in the workplace and pursue excellence. CDF is dedicated to creating a friendly and equal workplace, nurturing talents through diverse corporate policies and measures.

With the strategic vision to "Become Employer of Choice," CDF aims to create a workplace culture of diversity and respect for employees. At CDF, every employee, regardless of gender, nationality, or age, is a key partner for the company's sustainable development. As of January 2023, the proportion of female Executive Vice President in CDF group has exceeded 40%. In addition, among the four major subsidiaries of the group, the presidents of three subsidiaries include China Life, KGI Bank and CDIB Capital are female, which all demonstrated the company’s commitment to embrace gender equality and encourages female employees to develop their talents.

CDF held an IWD employee event today, with the theme of 2023 IWD: "Embrace Equity," inviting female Presidents of subsidiaries and senior leaders to share their career experiences. At the end of the event, the senior executives of the group presented small gifts to the employees, which once again deepened the corporate culture of warmth, tolerance and equality through relaxed and soft interactions.

In addition to continuously promoting the awareness of equality in the workplace, CDF also provides a variety of employee welfare programs to support the development of female colleagues. CDF provides 10-weeks of maternity leave and 8-days of paternity leave. The offices also have nursing rooms or provide corporate childcare services and education fee subsidies.
